Production
Our corporate headquarters are situated in the rural heart of the historic East Riding of Yorkshire. With over 30,000 sq.ft. of workspace set in ten acres of newly developed parkland, it is a superb working environment far from the stresses of city life - yet only ten miles from Kingston upon Hull and its facilities.

Our Research & Development Department is located on the same site, allowing full two-way consultation with production staff at the design stage of a project. This results in lower overheads and a much faster prototype-to-product development cycle, and also gives each staff member the assurance of being an important part of the "ECM Team".

We are one of the area's largest employers, with around eighty staff drawn from the surrounding villages and Kingston upon Hull. We are therefore able to make a significant contribution to the local community and economy, and actively support neighbouring schools and colleges by offering a limited number of annual work experience places for local school-leavers.

Recent investments include a state-of-the-art Surface Mount manufacturing capability, to complement the existing hand-built production line. This mix of traditional and modern manufacturing techniques gives us the ability to handle everything from the simplest three-component board to complex high density systems, and we can select the most cost effective way of approaching each product.
